Hawaiian Quilting is best known for its dramatic “Kapa Lau” or bed quilts. DBI-Hawaii offers the most extensive line of Bed Quilts, all hand-quilted using the finest material on the market. Each of our Quilts is hand applique’ and then echo stitched by master quilters each with many years of quilting experience and a love of quilting. Our Bed Quilts come with matching Shams (included in Price) and are available in the following sizes:

Special Order: If we do not have what you need in stock, you can easily order a Bed Quilt to be made especially for you. We offer “Special Orders” with your dimensions and colors and you can choose your own material (COM=customers own material). To special order your Bed Quilt, you can send us a message here.

Note: If you don’t find a color you like, you can choose from our color swatch. To order your color preference, simply process your order as it is found online on our website then drop us a note by clicking here and reference your order #, give us your color preferences and we will note it on your order.

Not all Beds are created equal!!! To ensure that your bed quilt fits your bed properly please follow these simple instructions. (1) Measure the head of the bed to the foot of the bed, plus the drop from the foot of the bed to the floor or where you prefer it to hang. This dimension is called the length. (2) Next measure the top of the bed from left to right and then down one side and the the other, this measurement is called the width. (3) These two measurements are then given to us to ensure we order the correct size for you. Please remember, Hawaiian Quilts are not “Pillow Tucks” that is why we give you two pillow shams as your pillows are positioned on top of the quilt.
